  • This was an online program designed to enhance student knowledge on wildlife conservation and climate change through STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Maths) education. It aimed to prevent the reversal of educational gains in Nepal due to pandemic-related school closures by providing distance learning opportunities rooted in discovery-based and hands-on learning.

What it does/ How it functions

  • DIY activities and lesson plans were created in Nepali and delivered through a hands-on, learning-by-doing approach to make content accessible and build problem-solving skills.
  • Teachers were trained to facilitate both synchronous and asynchronous sessions using tools like Google Meet and Google Classroom.
  • Students participated from home, building prototypes and sharing their work digitally through social media and online forms.
