US Embassy’s Book Bus

The Book Bus is a mobile library initiative launched by the U.S. Embassy and operated by Karkhana Samuha. This innovative initiative travels across Nepal, delivering books, interactive storytelling, and hands-on workshops to schools, colleges, and community centers, especially in underserved areas.
Through engaging activities on topics such as environmental awareness, entrepreneurship, social issues, and cultural heritage, the Book Bus fosters a love for learning and exploration among children and youth, striving to make education accessible, inspiring, and impactful.
