ESAF – Nepal

The project functioned as a six-month preparatory phase focused on evidence gathering and organizational capacity building to strengthen education policy accountability in Nepal. Key operational functions included refining internal governance policies, training staff in Results-Based Management and Design Thinking, and establishing “learning collaboratives” to bridge the gap between innovative local ideas and formal policy forums like the Joint Review Meeting. By securing formal support from local governments and mapping stakeholders, the project established a foundation for mobilizing citizens and CSOs to monitor government commitments to the right to education
